About the BHCLRC website

We have owned Land Rovers since 1992, but did not really learn how to 'use' one till a neighbour introduced us to trialing in 1998. I developed an interest in web site editing at about the same time, so here is where my two hobbies have merged. |

My goals for the BHCLRC web site are as follows: -
Members can confirm event locations, dates and keep on top of last minute changes via the Events Calendar. They can also let the world know what Land Rover bits they have for sale or want at our Sales page. They can also share their on-line pictures via the photo gallery.
We have a discount scheme with a number of local and national suppliers. The supplier gets a Link; in return our members get a discount.
A club is only as good as its membership, the more people that get involved in participating in and organising events the better. For all but the most confident of individuals introducing yourself to a new club and getting involved is always difficult. By checking out the clubs committee via our Contact page you have a bit of a head start, you will recognise a few faces the first time you meet us and get to know a little bit about us. You can also get a feel for what we do on the About BHCLRC page. Enthusiastic new members keep a club fresh and active, hopefully visitors from our region will like what they see and want to Join BHCLRC.
Access to good off road driving in the UK is at best difficult. By letting the world know that we are actually a nice bunch of responsible individuals paves the way for the future of our hobby. I hope this site reveals the genuine enthusiasm our members have for their vehicles and the countryside. To this end you will find regularly updated articles and reports on events in our on-line Magazine -'Four Play'. There is also an on going Land Rover History section where members and friends have written articles about their own personal favourite vehicle. Russ Brown |
